PMIP FOUR MILE POST PUMP STATION EXPANSION
This project is one of our most recent and most intensive, adding to our already-extensive work on the Pima-Maricopa Irrigation Project, for which we’ve done over $60 million of work. T&T Construction, Inc. installed 7,045 lineal feet of 48” PVC and partially DIP with an outlet structure and inlet structure completed under a single dry-up. Also included was a 60 CFS pump station with a concrete wet well approximately 25 feet deep with two vertical turbine pumps and a surge tank. The crossing of SR 87 was completed with a 150 lineal foot jack and bore with casing pipe. The pump station is controlled using a PLC in a new control building. The site is adjacent to a culturally sensitive area and required strict adherence to ROW limits.
The photos below capture the process, scope, and intricacy of this project.
